How it works
How our remote connection software works
|
This allows you to centrally and securely, support and manage remote PCs over the web. A robust IT tool-kit and powerful remote access, combined with firewall traversal and dynamic IP address resolution, allow you to manage hard-to-reach systems with ease - even while systems are unattended, or in the background while in use, so you never need to interrupt or rely on users. |

Step 2: AccessAutomatic connections: computers in your account securely identify themselves, allowing for automatic firewall traversal and dynamic IP address resolution.
When logged in, you'll automatically see a list of all your computers and their status: on-line or off-line. Click the computer you want to access, enter it's Windows authentication credentials, and you'll be quickly and securely connected to it. Background access: once connected to a remote computer, you'll see a dashboard display of its vital statistics, as well as the ability to drill down into more detailed information for rapid problem diagnosis and resolution - all in the background without disrupting users. Unattended access: powerful remote control capabilities enable you to access a remote computer as if you were physically at the machine. You can access machines while they are unattended, limiting disruption or reliance on users. Reliable connections: LogMeIn's remote connections use patent-pending point-to-point connections: LogMeIn brokers the initial connection, and then hands off all communications directly between two machines, eliminating the traditional connectivity issues that you may experience with alternative hosted solutions. Step 3: Manage and ControlCreate multiple administrators, and provide end users with easy-to-use remote access accounts.
Master administrators: Allow multiple administrators, each with unique logins and permissions, to access, manage and administer all computers in the account. This is useful for organizations with one or more administrators responsible for computer management. Secondary User Accounts: Provide third parties with remote access to one or more of the computers in your account. Secondary Users have access only to the machines you designate, and are not able to view details of your LogMeIn IT Reach account or subscription. Set LogMeIn IT Reach to operate as your first line of defense, alerting you to issues before they impact the users or business, while automating routine tasks. Performance monitoring: Auto-monitor groups of computers 24\7 for events that you define (such as hard drive capacity or when a server goes off-line). Task scheduling: Schedule routine tasks to occur automatically.
